Prayer is the soul of our apostolate.
At the heart of Sacred Beauty is an overflowing love of Jesus steeped in imitation of His mother, devotion to His real presence, and union with His Sacred Heart’s love for souls.
Love of Mary
“When Jesus saw his mother, and the disciple whom he loved standing near, he said to his mother, ‘Woman, behold, your son!’ Then he said to his disciple, ‘Behold your mother!’ And from that hour the disciple took her to his own home” (John 19:26-27).
On the cross, Jesus entrusted His mother to us. Mary is the most beautiful woman, fully alive in her identity as daughter, sister, bride and mother, and she can teach us so much about our femininity and about her Son. She is the saint who magnifies the Lord’s voice, untangles the knots we find ourselves in, and unveils the deep peace and love of her Son Jesus. At Sacred Beauty, we have a deep reverence and devotion to Jesus through our Mother Mary.
Love of the Eucharist
“This is my body, given up for you” (Luke 22:19).
At the last super and on the cross, Jesus gave us the gift of His body in the Eucharist. The Catechism of the Catholic Church tells us, “the Eucharist is the source and summit of our faith” (CCC 1324). Everything flows from the Eucharist and comes back to the Eucharist which is the very body, blood, soul and divinity of Jesus.
At Sacred Beauty, our missionaries pray a Eucharistic Holy Hour every day. This sacred time of prayer and contemplation transforms our hearts so that we become more aware of Christ dwelling inside us and in those we serve. The more we spend time in His presence, the more transformed we become.
Love for Souls
"I want to give Myself to souls; I yearn for souls, My daughter... Go through the whole world and bring fainting souls to the spring of My mercy" (Diary, 206).
In conversation with St. Faustina, Jesus said, "The flames of mercy are burning Me — clamoring to be spent; I want to keep pouring them out upon souls; souls just don't want to believe in My goodness ... As often as you want to make me happy, speak to the world about My great and unfathomable mercy," (Diary, 177, 164). At Sacred Beauty, we want to share Christ’s message of mercy and unfathomable love with the whole world. Our hearts burn with zeal for every soul to know and eternally experience the depths of God’s love.
