Do you have suggested donations?
The suggested donation amount for spiritual direction is $50/session, for an individually directed retreat is $50/day, and for speaking is $200/talk plus travel expenses. If you feel called to give more or less, you’re welcome to do so.
Is direction right for me?
If you have a regular prayer life, a desire to grow in holiness, a longing to encounter Jesus more deeply in prayer, are actively ministering to others, or discerning a vocation or other big decision, spiritual direction is probably a good fit. It will give you the space to encounter Christ more deeply.
What do you expect from regular directees?
Openness, honesty and a desire to grow in relationship with God. The biggest expectation is that directees commit to a minimum of 30 minutes a day of mental prayer and a regular sacramental life. If you have a sincere desire to establish those habits, but you’re not there yet, spiritual accompaniment could be a great fit.
How can I donate?
Sacred Beauty is an LLC that is contracted under the non-profit Missionary Way. Therefore, all donations are tax deductible to the extent of the law. You can make a donation to us through their website by clicking the donate button below.
Who do you serve?
All of our one-on-one spiritual direction, accompaniment and inner healing sessions are for women. Our ministry is based in Lincoln, NE and we offer both in-person and digital options as needed. Our speaking ministry is open to groups of men and women.
Is my director a good fit at this time?
Spiritual direction is a very sacred space and one where you should experience growth in holiness and deeper intimacy in your relationship with God. To the extent that you feel the freedom to unveil your soul and receive from Jesus through that person, he or she is probably a good fit. If freedom is lacking, Jesus may want you to make a change.
I’m not ready for spiritual direction, how can I grow?
Spiritual accompaniment might be a better fit if you’re looking for one-on-one formation in your relationship with Christ. Otherwise, small groups at your local Catholic church, Newman Center, or youth group are wonderful places to experience Christian community and transformation in holiness.

That is just fine! We are here to meet you where you are in your journey with Jesus and help you to grow. All of our training and formation is rooted in a Christian worldview and we would love to walk with you or speak at your event.
How often is direction?
Spiritual direction is generally once a month. Depending on the season of life, sessions can be more or less frequent. At the end of a session, we will pencil in a meeting for the following month. If an adjustment needs to be made by either party, we ask that at least 24 hours notice be given.
I think I need to change directors, how do I do it?
When it comes to spiritual direction, there is tremendous reverence for the freedom and discernment of both parties to decide if the relationship is or is not a good fit. Sometimes personalities, styles of prayer or seasons of life just don’t match up. If you feel like Jesus is moving you in a new direction simply communicate that to your director.
